Drew Smith

Drew Smith is Of Counsel at Talati Law Firm, where he focuses on brand protection, trademark enforcement, and intellectual property strategy. He advises clients across industries—including lifestyle, health, and consumer products—on securing and defending trademarks both in the U.S. and internationally. Drew brings over 15 years of experience in global trademark prosecution, anti-counterfeiting initiatives, and brand enforcement. He has represented clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Drew earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Colorado. He is admitted to practice in Oregon, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Outside of work, Drew enjoys exploring the mountains of Central Oregon with his wife, two children, and their Bernese Mountain Dogs.
